Gingko Biloba is one of the oldest trees on the planet. Gingko leaves hold the properties of memory magic; it is known in fairie lore and in books of our elders to be a memory herb. According to legend, sitting under the branches of the gingko tree increases the likelihood of seeing fairies. The spirits of the unborn fairies live in the leaves and branches of the tree. It has been said that to lie on your belly with both arms outstretched and allowing a close friend or relative to place the leaves on your back and along the ridges of the shoulder blades induces prophetic flying dreams.
